About Us – Rutter Insurance Services is a locally family owned and operated independent insurance agency.  Jimmy began in the insurance industry in 1998 after many successful years selling automobiles in the Athens area.  Marla soon followed him into the business, leaving behind a career in accounting and income tax preparation.  As soon as Brittany finished high school, she too completed her insurance training and licensing and joined the agency.  Rutter Insurance Services has two locations; one in Logan, Ohio and the other in McArthur, Ohio, allowing us to serve a large portion of southeast Ohio.

Auto Insurance – We offer coverage for all types of vehicles, including classic show cars, motorcycles, scooters, RV’s, utility trailers, snowmobiles, boats, jet skis and golf carts.  We specialize in auto bonds and SR-22 state filings.  All drivers will be considered for coverage, regardless of prior driving record.

Home Insurance – We offer coverage for traditional homes, manufactured homes, homes under construction, and farms of all sizes.  We provide coverage for rental properties as well as content coverage for tenants.

Commercial Insurance – We offer coverage for businesses of all sizes; from the small business that you operate out of your home, to large manufacturing operations.  We can provide coverage for vehicles used for commercial purposes; including log haulers and dump trucks.

Life Insurance – We offer affordable term and whole life insurance policies.  We also offer annuities and IRA’s to provide a guaranteed retirement income.

Professional Liability Insurance – We offer surety bonds, performance bonds, and E&O insurance for a variety of professions.
